Olsen, Sigvard M. letter - handwritten "Patchogue, L.I.
Jan. 7, 1920
Dear Sir:
Received your letter and don't know what to say. I could tell you better about it if I could see you. I would be glad to answer anything on it. I am not much of a wrighter [sic]. So if you want me let me know please, and I will come. I do not know where your office is. I did not get wounded. I got gassed October 9, 1918, and did not see any more of the Battel [sic] line. After the War ended I cam home. One of the lucky ones to get home first. I am sending you a picture that I had tacking [i.e., taken] just as soon as I got home. I hope it is all right. This will be all. Hoping to here [sic] from you if you whant [sic] me to come and tell you more of my War Experience.
Will be glad to do any thing for the town of Patchogue.
Sincerely Yours,
Sigvard M. Olsen
