Thought I had sent
the information you requested
but had just found that it had
been mislaid.
Name. Henry Lessey
Enlisted. Conn. Naval Militia, April 13,
1916. Active duty for War April 6, 1917.
Went to Rec[eiving]. Ship Boston from
Hartford. was transferred to National Naval
volunteers, July 1st 1918 was transferred
again to Naval Reserve Forces.
Did convoy duty for a time"

From Bermuda to Azores. also went to
Hayti [i.e., Haiti], Mexico, Cuba & Venezuela.
Was put on inactive duty Jan. 16, 1919.
Entitled to wear one gold chevron
for War zone service.
