Description: The reverse reads:
"Here is an interesting study of Louisa Cotton Cuffee, Narragansett of Rhode Island, who married Jason Cuffee of the Montauks of Sag Harbor. She is shown with her daughter Louisa in front of the old Cuffee homestead in Sag Harbor.
This home still remains in the Cuffee family and is a neatly kept cottage with its many interesting mementoes and bric-a-brac of former days sitting upon the shelves. Mrs. Dora Cuffee, the wife of the late Christopher Cuffee Jr., still lives in the old homestead that is rich with the history of the town. Through the doors of this little home passed Indian whalers from many tribes who came to partake of suppers at the table of the Cuffees of past generations.
Louisa also appears in Photo No. 5."
